Information:

  • Entries Close 5pm Friday September 23, 2022
  • Entries must be brought to the pavilion before 9am on show day with tickets attached
  • Entrants must download a copy of the judges handbook for competition tips and judging information.
  • NO ENTRY FEE: ONE ENTRY PER PERSON
  • The semi-final winner will be eligible to compete in the State final to be held at the Royal Adelaide Show, 2023.

  • Cake to remain undecorated (ie no almonds)

Genoa Cake Rules

  • Exhibitors own recipe to be used
  • There is to be no restriction on the ingredients used
  • As a general guideline, the Genoa Cake should contain sultanas, currants, cherries and almonds
  • Cake to remain un-iced
  • Cake may be decorated with almonds
